Some Helpful Advice to Pastors and Church Leadership

Pastors and others are asking how they can organize groups to attend Heaven's Rehearsal and how they can ensure that all of their group will be sitting together?

Another question often asked is: can churches have tickets to sell at their church location as this will be easier for their people to buy them, rather than having to go through the Ticketmaster system?

Here are the answers to these questions.
Yes, it is true that tickets purchased individually will be allocated by Ticketmaster the ‘next best available seat’, which means that your people could be spread out over the Rogers Centre. Unfortunately Ticketmaster will not allow us to just take blocks of tickets to give to churches and / or Christian Bookstores to sell, so there are two options of what you can do if your people would like to be sitting close together, or to make the purchasing of tickets easier for your congregation:

Option 1
Buy a block of tickets – minimum of 10 – using the Group Rate Booking Form, and then sell them on at your church. The sooner you buy your tickets, the better the seats allocated to you will be.

Option 2
Using the Local Church Order Form, you can take orders, collect the money, and then buy the tickets. If you use this method, people should make their cheque out to your church; when you have your final numbers, order them using the Group Rate Booking Form.

We will obtain the tickets for you and explain how you can pay us for them.

If you avail yourself of either of these options, it is up to you what you ask your people to pay per ticket. Some churches are charging their people the full ticket price and using the money saved to buy tickets for people who genuinely cannot afford the ticket price. Others are passing the savings on to their people.
